This selection event is conceived with two specific purposes within the AT Virtual project: on the one hand, to contribute to spread the features and potentials of the Vision Technologies and its application in maritime conditions focus on training and, on the other hand, to carry out the selection of the start-ups that will collaborate with the Maritime Safety Training Centres in the development of the solutions proposed to face their challenges.
This competition will be both public with a pitch contest and private with face-to-face interviews where the applicants will have the opportunity to defend their proposal and respond the questions formulated by the centres for a better understanding of the solution.

En el marco del proyecto AT VIRTUAL (Proyecto Europeo financiado por el programa INTERREG VB – Espacio Atlántico a través de fondos FEDER), el próximo día 30 de junio a las 09:15 (CET) se va a celebrar el Evento de Selección, correspondiente a la tercera convocatoria, cuya temática está centrada en Vision Technologies (Realidad Virtual, Realidad Amentada y Realidad Mixta) / Internet of Things (IoT).
Esta jornada persigue un doble objetivo: por un lado, difundir las potencialidades de esta tecnología y su aplicación en la seguridad marítima y, por otro lado, dar visibilidad a las star-ups participantes que colaborarán con los centros de formación en seguridad marítima para desarrollar los retos propuestos en esta convocatoria.

AT VIRTUAL, persigue acelerar el proceso de digitalización de los Centros de Formación en Seguridad Marítima dentro del Espacio Atlántico, mediante la introducción de tecnologías habilitadoras relacionadas con el Internet of Things / Bigdata - Analytics / Tecnologías de visión que permitan mejorar la capacidad, preparación y respuesta en operaciones marítimas de emergencia.
