Today, the event is taking place at The Centro Jovellanos, the training centre of the Spanish Maritima Safety and Rescue Agency.
It is a hybrid event that gives the attendee the option to attend the meeting both face-to-face and online.

This selection event is conceived with two specific purposes within the AT Virtual project: on the one hand, to contribute to spread the features and potentials of the Vision Technologies and its application in maritime conditions focus on training and, on the other hand, to carry out the selection of the start-ups that will collaborate with the Maritime Safety Training Centres in the development of the solutions proposed to face their challenges. 
This competition will be both public with a pitch contest and private with face-to-face interviews where the applicants will have the opportunity to defend their proposal and respond the questions formulated by the centres for a better understanding of the solution.

AT-VIRTUAL aims to accelerate the digitalization of Maritime Safety Training Centres in the Atlantic Area, through the introduction of new emerging Industry 4.0 related technologies (Internet of Things, Big Data/Data Analytics, and Vision Technologies) in simulation-based training systems, contributing to more effectively and efficiently tackle of maritime security and safety in the Atlantic Area.
