Jovellanos Center, the training centre of the Spanish Maritime Search and Rescue Agency, within the framework of the AT-VIRTUAL project (European project funded by the INTERREG VB - Atlantic Area Programme through the European Regional Development Fund) would like to inform you that:

• the next day 27 January at 10:30 a.m. (CET), will be held the Online Selection Event corresponding to the first call for proposals, focused on the Internet of Things (IoT).

This event has a twofold objective:

• On the one hand, it will be aimed to disseminate the impact that IoT technology is having nowadays in the field of maritime safety;
• On the other hand, it will give visibility to the participating companies that will be competing with each other to take up the challenges proposed in the Open Call.

AT VIRTUAL, aims to accelerate the digitization processes of Maritime Safety Training Centres in the Atlantic Area, through the introduction of enabling technologies related to the Internet of Things / Bigdata - Analytics / Vision Technologies, to improve the capacity, preparedness and response in emergency maritime operations.

*** Finally the startup PIBICO has been selected, in this first call "Internet of Things" of the AT-Virtual Project, to develop with the Spanish Maritime Safety and Rescue Agency, the technological challenge "System for monitoring and Sending Personalized Messages".
