Personnel who are or may become members of the bodies responsible for managing the response to marine pollution emergencies.

Personnel who perform or may perform duties involving the loading, unloading and handling of hydrocarbons in maritime and port environments: seaports, shipbuilding and ship repair yards, oil platforms, shipbreaking yards, oil waste reception facilities and any other maritime facilities located where Spain exercises sovereignty, sovereign rights or jurisdiction, whether the operations are carried out by fixed, mobile or floating means.

Personnel who are or may become team leaders in coordinating and managing the response to an oil spill and who are responsible for the emergency team, for coordinating the work of other agencies involved in the response, for deciding on strategies and tactics to be used to clean up the spilt oil and for coordinating the collection of information.

This course has been designed for professionals who, not having received prior training, may find themselves involved in emergencies involving dangerous goods.
