This course has been designed for professionals who, not having received prior training, may find themselves involved in emergencies involving dangerous goods.
It provides trainees with basic knowledge on emergencies involving dangerous goods, and on the relevant equipment used and its limitations.

  • Operating procedures.
  • Use and maintenance of NBC suits.
  • Handling equipment in chemical emergencies.
  • Intervention in a chemical emergency with spill from a tanker truck.
  • Implementation of an organisational model for all operations.
Practical training will take place at the Jovellanos Centre’s training grounds, using the relevant emergency equipment.
The course is delivered over a period of three days.
Class hours
The course consists of 21 certified hours.

15 students.
