This course has been designed for people who aspire to work in public or private fire brigades but who do not have prior knowledge in fire-fighting; and, in general, for first and second emergency team members set out in emergency plans.

The training is eminently practical. At the end of the course, trainees will be capable of handling the various types of portable extinguishers, 25, 45 and 70 Ø hoses, various types of nozzles, wall-mounted fire hoses, and using self-contained breathing apparatuses. In addition, they will be trained in how to act in the event of fires caused by solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, how to rescue victims in smoke-filled areas, fires in warehouses, etc. They will also learn to recognize and provide initial response in the case of emergencies caused by the spillage of hazardous substances in general.

Indoor fighting-fighting techniques and the use of SCBA
Fire protection systems.
Basic personal protective equipment.
Extinguishing liquid and gas fuels.
Introduction to operations involving dangerous goods.
Practical training:
Portable fire extinguishers.
Water hoses.
Personal protective equipment for fire-fighting.
Boiled Liquid Expanded Vapor Explosion (BLEVE)
Haz-Mat Emergency management awareness.
The course consists of 21 certified hours, it´s delivered over a period of 3 days.
